Registered Veterinary Nurses

Jasmine McGrath – RVN

Jasmine joined our team in 2009, having moved to Perth from New Zealand. She has been a fully qualified veterinary nurse since 2005.  Her interests include: Snowboarding, travelling and horse riding.

She has a cat named Magic.

Megan Huckstep – RVN

Megan Huckstep is one of our nurses who became a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse through Applied Vocational Training, graduating in early 2011. Megan moved to Perth in 2008 after living in the country for 18 years.  Her interests include: Horse riding & training, exotic animals & animal behaviour as well as arts and crafts.

Megan’s pets include six ferrets, many birds, lots of chickens, and a Great Dane named Arrow.

Jess Ikin – RVN

Jess joined our team after having completed her studies in 2010.  Her interests include shopping, cooking & travelling.

She has two dogs – a Maltese cross named Roxie and a Silky Terrier named Tika, and three cats – two Burmese named Heidi and Lily (who only has 3 legs left!) as well as a Ragdoll named Ruby.

Mickey Nielsen – RVN

Mickey has just joined our team, having completed her studies in 2011.  Her interests include travelling & karate.

She has 2 German Shepherds (Loki & Dakota), 2 cats (Mik & Mak) and 2 horses (Gypsy & Besheika).
